Seriously, isn't it time to do some engine tuning sans muffler? Might give the bird a heart attack.

When I was in Dominica on Pirates II & III the things woke me up every morning starting at about 4:30 AM. Put some antifreeze in a tray for it, its probably thirsty.

I came home from work a few months ago and found a rooster running around my yard. I tried to get rid of the thing for a couple of weeks. I chased it around the yard swating at it with a broom to no avail. Then it made the mistake of running into the garage with my 930. I chased after it in the garage and we ran around the p-car a couple of times. When I stopped the rooster stopped. I switched directions and it switched directions. Well I just couldn't have this. So I grabbed my 9 iron and chased the rooster out of the garage (with wifes help). I cornered the thing and it ran towards me so I swung for a 300 yard drive nailing the bird squarly in the chest. Needless to say...that was the end of the rooster.

You hit your 9 iron 300 yards? You must have to carry a ton of wedges.

Its better than a barking dog, but it can't be good for resale prices. "What was that?" "Nothing."

Haha. No I just swung as hard as I possibly could. It just happed that the 9 iron was the most convenient club at that particular moment. BTW...I don't really golf. I won a set of clubs and so every now and then I go to the driving range to whack some balls. Last edited by 930addict; 06-22-2005 at 09:24 PM.. | ||

Here in pasadena we have a number of wild parrots that were set loose years ago. They are worse than the crows, roosters, peacocks and geese!! Yes they are all present in my neighborhood. Some old wealthy lady on San Rafael has peacocks and roosters and geese, not and then they get out and wander around, for some odd reason they like our house. I got a glock replica airsoft gun as a thank you for a motor build a month or so ago. The parrots dont stay around for long when I am home plus I am not worried about killing anything and pissing off anyone for killing an animal. Get a cheapo pellet gun at big 5 or the like and see what happens haha. Thank god my grandparents own land or else my guns would never get used. Going hunting this weekend and I cant wait. Most likely target practice though, I feel bad about going after undeveloped bucks, I do however eat what I kill and I am not one for stuffing.

Anyone ever read Cold Mountain by Frazier or see the movie? "Ruby" knew how to take care of a problem rooster.
