Jackson Wyoming is a good place to have a beer. Trust me.

I was hunting elk outside Jackson about 12 yrs ago...drew a tag for the Grand Teton Nat'l Park. They deputize you as a ranger to allow you to take an elk...this is to cut down some(very few) of the elk making it to the refuge. Anywho...breathing in the fresh mtn air and it hit us like a ton of bricks...it smelled like a garbage dump. I knew right there it was a grizzly. Never saw him, but you couldn't pound a toothpick in my a$$ w/ a hammer.

Oh, did I fail to mention the paphlet they sent w/ the tag telling you you better be able to PROVE you had to shoot a griz up there. IIRC, it said something along the lines of "when you hear the bear's jaws popping, it means an attack is imminent, and that you should curl up in the fetal position and try to protect your head and neck

Naw...I think I'll just try to bust a couple caps in his melon.
