Angry faark! help w/ Firefox problems

last night my computer froze... (it's happened before) so I force-quit/shut down everything and when I restarted, all my settings/links/bookmarks from Firefox were gone

it took me forever to customize the browser and now it's all gone.

any way I can "reclaim" (find?) those settings again?

if it helps, I'm running xp on a thinkpad.

thanks.

I think that same thing happened to me (that's how computer illiterate I am, not only can I not solve problems, I'm not even sure if the problem happened to me!).

I posted here and got the perfect answer that allowed even stupid me to reclaim my settings. This was in the last 2-3 months or so.

Try a search using my handle, firefox, etc.

Thats happened to me a few times also and I didnt know how to retrieve them. I started backing up my bookmarks once a week to minimize any future loss. Thanks for the post.
