Making a video clip
Is there a way I can capture about 4 minutes from a DVD and make an mpg or mov (etc) file. The clip I have in mind is the first lap of the movie "LeMans".

I forget where to download it, but I use Yade (yet another disk extractor) to do that, then ffmpegX puts it all together as a divx or whatever. Basically, Yade lets you select which chapter you want, then extract it as vob or separate streams.

Do you have any quality requirements? It is possible that MGI videowave works for this but I think their would be a problem with the DVD encoding.
