Rosslyn is safe, but not very residential. Courthouse has lots more and its only maybe a mile up the street. And it's right near the Arlington police station.

Yeah, but the price of renting a really nice place in DC for the short term would'nt make sense, unless you are a millionaire, or a moneyhungry lawyer.

Oh, and DC isn't technically safe. NW has its freaks that come out at night too.

Most of Alexandria (the city and the area of fairfax county with the mailing address "alexandria" are quiet and safe, with only the rt 1 corridor as the exception. However, when you get here and look at the rt 1 corridor, it won't be a surprise to you that they are low income high crime areas.

Justs being a realist. I lived in Shirlington until last summer. This is the + $ imports place I was talking about.... Very close to my old house...lots of MS 13 on the back of the building.
