Want to see something really gross?
Sitting here getting the books up to date and there's a fly crawling around the desk, sort of slowly. A quick swat and he's dead. I dig out a piece of paper from the trash to scoop him up and I see these little white wiggling worms coming out.
After this pic, I doused them with a teaspoon of rubbing alchohol, 5 minutes later they are still swimming. ![]()

I just had that happen to me. Giant fly in the house. I swatted it and when I cleaning the goo off the window I saw those nasty little crawling white things.
Sprayed them with windex and they seemed to stop moving. Wiped them up and flushed them - Didn't want any chances for what ever those things where to grow in the trash can.

Aren't those little maggots Bot (SP?) Fly larvae? A Bot Fly will capture a house fly and lay its eggs on the house fly's belly. When the house fly lands on an animal, the Bot Fly maggots jump off and burrow into the flesh of the animal. A few weeks later, the maggot emerges (from what is now a festering sore) and sheds its skin, only to emerge a fly.
