The reason statistics don't change after "ban the breed" legislataion is that the low life SOBs that cause the dogs to be bad, are still around and just pick another breed to mistreat. As to APBTs being different than Bull Terriers, the best information I've ever read considers bulldogs (not the English type) to by a type of dog rater than a specific breed. Included were APBTs, AmStaffs, American Bulldogs and Bull Terriers. All of these are variants of the original Bull Terrier that was bred for tenacity and bravery & used to tire out a bull or cow so the farmer could slaughter it. Almost immediately people devised ways to use the dog as a device for gambling. As a result of that, this noble, loyal dog has endured more abuse at the hands of human beings than all other breeds combined.

It doesn't matter how intelligent a dog is they OFTEN have encounters with porcupines. I have seen several similar situations in my life when a dog gets loose from a backyard, cabin, etc and finds his way into a muzzle full of quills.
As for the owner goes, I like to think they wouldn't get their dog to attack a porcipine knowing full well that they would be in for a huge vet bill or alot of work to get the quills out. I think some people here just thought it was a pitbull with an owner who "pits" his dog against other animals. I think this is very unlikely in this situation. |
Wow its a shame how they treat animals these days. im getting tired of walking around and seeing dead dogs laying around . Dogs have meaning on this world to !!! Just how you look at ceral killers is how you should look at dog killers !!
