Trunk mounted blind spot mirror (?)

This is pretty strange:

It's a mirror unit that mounts to your trunk to eliminate the blind spot. I guess it would work but seems pretty fugly to me. I'd also wonder about the scenery whizzing by while driving.

Well, I suppose it's not a bad idea for people who still park their cars front-end-in. For those of us who have evolved to backing in, it doesn't look like it'd help any. (tic)
