What is up with these stupid-rich athletes that have zero personal integrity? This guys signs a muti-year $49,000,000 contract and after one year he says it's not enough money. He says he "has to look out for my family". Unbelieveable. Why don't these guys stand behind the contracts that, at the time of inception, they are ecstatic to sign. If he were to be a total flop, would he expect the Eagles to reduce his compensation? I don't think so. He would hold them to that contract to the letter.

$49 million bucks ain't enough. How much does he need? I will just laugh if after football he turns into an MC Hammer - broke.

Terrell was a cancer to the 49er's. I was actually glad to see him go, total disruption to the team. I do like athletes that stand by their word and stay with the contracts. We've had our share, Ricky Henderson comes to mind.

Yeah I'm old! but I just don't get it! "I have to take care of my family" I'm sure his new agent has nothing to do with this, not that the new agent will get 5-15% of his new contract. That sure can't be it. It must be about T taking care of his family.
Heck I would lose sleep at night if I was only going to make 49 mill in the next few years

His latest manuver is completely over the edge. He and his agent were on Philly media tonight essentially saying that he'll show up for camp but be a negative, disruptive force.

I'd really like to understand, as what he did last year in the Superbowl showed a lot of heart, but he's messing with the wrong dude in Andy Reid.

I couldn't believe how rediculous TO is being and that he's a complete idiot.

BUT, I realized something. You can feel how you may, and I'm a patriots fan so I don't care for TO obviously, but due to the bargaining agreement, the contract is not gauranteed. If he gets hurt in a game, and is forced to retire, he doesn't make his contract money. I think a lot of what he is fighitng for is for them to tell him they will honor his contract in full.

Here in Jax, Mark Burnell pulled the same thing while on the Jag, they couldn't pay him and the line that made hime great. The following year, he got his ASS handed to him, and every time he got sacked, I cheered. Yep, they get what they deserve.
