E39 BMW 528I. Comfy, handles well, decent power, decent mileage, killer A/C.

I drive a 1997 Mazda 626 and the only thing I've put in is a battery or two tires, brakes and the 60K mile timing belt. A car in LA is something you use up. I'll be driving my 626 until it has a major coronary. I drive the 911 two or three days a week to work in Burbank, but take the 626 when I have to go into downton LA, over the 405 at rush hour, etc. If you can't afford a vanity car, buy something cheap to run and reliable. Keep the Hyundai if it meets your needs.

I do have my 1984 944 for fun weekend driving.
I was just speculating really, I guess the intelligent thing is to hold onto the Hyundai for the daily commute and put the $250 a month into the bank. However I never claimed to be intelligent. ![]()
