Any Midwest wheel polishers?

Looking to have some Fuchs polished and painted.

Anyone had this service done near the midwest, preferrably within a couple of hours of St. Louis?

Trying to avoid shipping wheels to CA.

We have Wheel Connection here in Oklahoma City. The owners are PCA members. You may have heard/read about Lindsey wheels, same place.

If you have time and patience, doing it yourself is a pretty viable option. I just finished doing a set of 6x15s today. It's a lot of hours, but there's also pride in doing a job well. (shrug) Just a thought.

How about some pics Dan?
I am definitely considering doing them myself.

Being a photographer, I have to show the "fine art" variant of the shot. f/2.0 at 1/250th, neatly arranged to portray the shiny polished surface at it's best. They don't look that good from all angles.

This is a little more accurate representation. Some notes on this one -- it isn't done yet -- that's just sanding up to 2000 grit and the first hit of rough polish (Tripoli). The little light-spots or flecks on the surface are dust -- it collects really fast on the clean surface, for reasons that I might speculate are related to the level of nastiness in my garage and static electricity, but I'll blame Bush anyway. Even in its "not quite done" state, you can still see a good solid reflection on the petals. If you have more patience, you can do better than I did.
