our numbers are shrinking
Just got back from our local PCA autocross and what a blast.(not like our local B.M.W. whine and cheese crew) I was a little dissapointed however. There were 2 rs's which were of the full racing variety, and my 82 was the only air cooled street car to carry the flag. I was surounded by boxters and watercoolers. It was a little odd to be driving full bore within earshot of the regional state police headquaters though.
we made sure to obey all of Virginia's traffic laws when leaving. Did you ever get the feeling you were being watched? ![]()

Too bad.
Our PCA autocrosses out here are full of everything from 914s from primer to full race, early 911s like Randy Wells', beat-up 924s to 996s and Boxsters. Usually close to 100 cars show up. A bunch of them are air-cooled. |

No kidding... The last PCA autox only had ONE OTHER Carrera (P9). Is that possible?
Tons of Boxsters though. ![]()
