Just got back from my European vacation and I have bad news for CA girls

Spent a week in France and two weeks in Italy and I've got to tell you that CA girls are NOT all that. The French are impossibly thin and quite friendly. Italians, especially the guys, can be rude. Italian chicks are not only friendly, they're freaking gorgeous! Thin, stacked, olive smooth skin, thick black wavy or curly hair and full lips. Oh yeah and they shave their pits too. There's an Adriana Lima look-alike on every street.

Sorry no pics. If my wife saw this post she'd kill me but I just had to tell you all what I saw. If you can vacation in Europe, make sure you include Southern Italy in your itinerary. Sicily has the finest chicks on the planet, next to my wife that is.

I lived in Europe for over 10 years and gained weight when I returned. Over there everyone walks almost everywhere, or takes public transport. Here we drive everywhere, and everything is fast food etc...

Whole different world over there, some good and some not so good.

I have to agree with cantdrv55. I spent a few summers on the Cote d'Azur and it is not even fair to compare those girls with what we got over here.
First of all, none of them are fat.
Also there is something special with theirs hairs, they are kind of shiny and sweet.
I also noticed that they walk differently, a bit like the South Americans. Over here many girls walk like mens. That must be because of all those hormones they put in our meat

Skinny? Yes. Healthy? Hmm. Attractive? If you go for the starving, obsessed with appearance type.

When I was in Greece last summer, it seemed the women were even more focused on extremes of appearance (rail thin, cutting edge fashion) than American women.

You know, I have heard this many times. But I live in Brooklyn, NY the capital of Italians in America - and most of them from the south..

And I do not find this to be the case. Sure, a few cute ones, but nothing more than all the other ethnic groups in the city.

Usually if they are really, really cute they are half Irish..

IMHO.

The problem is that when these peoples moves to our countries, they assimilate all our bad habits.
Over there they walk all the time, are allergics to fast food, put olive oil everywhere and work only 35 hours a week, 46 weeks a year maximum.

Oh, I will probably still be single when I turn 18 after Senior year. My friend is half Italian, so I will make sure he goes. His mom is highly encouraging us to go after High School lets out since she never had the chance. I'm hoping it will be fun despite not knowing any Italian or French.

Yeah, I have to agree. I was in France and Italy in March. The Euro girls are generally healthy as hell. The few really overweight woment I saw turned out to be US tourists.

Hell, I probably lost 6-8 lbs in 2 weeks there, walking and eating quality food...

I have spent a lot of time along the Mediterranean coast, from Italy to Saint Tropez and my take on the women is this. As you say they are very adorable from their teens up to their 30th but then, paradoxically, they all seem to turn fat and rather non-attractive. I guess its a social-biological thing. When young and looking/hunting for a suitable man they make an effort. Once settled down, kids, cooking they loose motivation.

Disclaimer: I am no sexist. The same probably goes for women AND MEN everywhere. Just that the transformation of these women seems more noticeable.

Try to learn Italian and French. Buy a Berlitz self study course on CD if your school doesn't offer Italian as a foreign language or if you have your classes all planned out already. Europeans like it when you try to speak their language. Also, never be ashamed or afraid to let them know you're an American, just behave well. Some guys on this board say the French do not like us. Nobody likes an ahole, especially an American ahole so just be friendly. Be friendly and BOLD to the girls there. French and Italian dudes are very aggressive when it comes to seeking mates. The American girls we met on vacation there (from college) loved the attention they were getting.

If you are under 25, go in the youth hostels.
You will meet peoples from all over the place and best off all, the dormitory are mixed.
