Concours d'Elegance 2005

If you were there Sunday, post your pictures in this thread. I have a lot to do today, so I'll just post a couple for now, cheers.

Just bought some time.

Note: The muted green (not a Speedster) Porsche at the top of this thread is the same one recently featured in Panorama (or was it Excellence) and restored by Gary Kempton of Florida. My buddy and I taked to the GK restoration guys for quite a while, they showed us the restoration process photos - this is a one of kind car, very nice. They fabricated from scratch (based on old photographs) the windshield.

More pictures I've taken here:

What kind of oil cooler is this?

Not a lot of Porsche's, lots of Italian cars, lots of really old cars, second highest rated car show in the country.

My favorites hands down were the powder blue TDF coupe and the California Spyder with the removable hardtop. The silver one owner Dino was nice as well.

I saw that one, great car.......but my camera battery was running low.

What many people many not of known was the "Italian Happening" was just outside the manson gates.

This Pantera caught my eye............what can I say I grew up in Dearborn with Fords, it's in my blood.

What car is this?

All the cars on the front lawn look to be Chrysler concepts. That would make the car a Chrysler "Firepower".

I like the Ford GR-1 a little better myself, although they are hard to tell apart from a distance.

There is a little better shot (second photo) in the Alfa link I just gave.

Is that an ME Four-Twelve to the right of the Firepower?

I've seen it at the NAIAS before.
