Starting over

I am unsure what happened but I decided it was time to use my real name and move on. I changed my E-mail addy the one I used when I signed up was no longer any good. I suspect that had something to do with it.

The e-mail addy I used to use was connected with a wesite an ex-employee runs. When I fired him he basically deleted my e-mail account and has been recieving my e-mails. He also hosted a couple of my websites.... gone.

I learned a hard lesson. Never use an employee for these things.

How many post did you have under the old user name?

You can hit 911, 914, 944, 928, 930 and so on all over again.

Post count is a non-issue with me. I was more concerned about not being able to use the PM system and being able to post.

Yes I did. I anticipated his e-attacks and backed everything up. He was your typical internet geek. Passive in person and a demigod online.

I relized yesterday my E-mail on my Jims5543 user was to his website and changed it. Then I was restricted.

I know for a fact he intercepts the e-mails and I am unsure if there is any thing illegal about it. I have had friends that used the old addy complain they never got their mail returned which makes me think he is getting them and reading them.

I have a hard time believing that what he's doing wouldn't be illegal. Some sort of identity theft law might cover this?

He may have also just redirected the incoming email to device "NULL" - no rejectiion notices would be sent out and the email would just disappear into cyber space.

Also, if it's his website/domain, anything coming in would be his property - given that, I'm not sure how he could be doing anything illegal.
