Singpilot has GOOD Trash Service
Yep that he does....whenever they discover a dead body by the road out Sing's way all he has to do is call the County Coroner and they come out right away and pick it up.... the last one was picked up on August 2nd, with a gunshot wound...I woould just hate having people dump their trash in my front yard....how insensative of them....

I quite often am coming down the hill very early in the morning (not this time of year tho, I stay over on the coast), and will see tire tracks that leave the road where there will be 'a lump of something'...
The desert has always been a dumping ground for things like that... the phrase 'wet spot in the lake' (dry lakes) is a threat hereabouts.... Lately, I think there is a little too much surveillance out in the open spaces, and these activities are now moving out here to the mountains and valleys around the area. I am about to put a gate down at the state road to prevent my first gate (2 miles up my road) as being the first obstacle to a dropoff.

I knew I would hear from U on this....I just had to comment about it when I read the newspaper about the pick up in your front yard..Yep the growth in the valley has made it more difficult for people to dump their trash so they are moving further outwards...
I would definately put that second gate in...anything to make it more difficult for people to dump their trash....I also think about home invasion....

Do not feel alone, the usual comment around here is "its a very big desert and every hardware store has a shovel" ...
They have been finding bodies right and left this year in AZ out in the desert. Hope CSI PHX has a handle on it... JoeA

When they were digging the trench around my house to pour the concrete to correct my expansive soil problem....they found a lump of concrete about 5 feet out from my foundaton and 5 feet down that cut across the trench the width of the lump was about 2 feet by an undetrmined length....since this is cut and not a filled lot....I wonder what a lump of buried concrete was doing out here in the middle of the desert?????
I asked the worker in the trench if it was clique he said it was concrete...so..... I have often wondered if with all these new housing developments. they have found any buried bodies...during construction...

So you live on a burial ground? If that body was mummified and 10,000 years old you would have a dig and some grant monies on your hands. The only reason its not is that the poor sot died only a short time ago.

Tabs, how could you not investigate this?
Imagine, an entombed corpse of your very own! It could be the modern equivalent of the Cardiff Giant. . . the neighborhood kids would pay $.25 each to be led behind a horse blanket, just to regard this lump of concrete and marvel at its mummified occupant. Could it be Hoffa? Morrison? Vanilla Ice? (Ok, Vanilla Ice is not actually dead). If I were you, I would pick up the phone and give Geraldo Rivera a call. Imagine the spectacle, tungsten lights on collapsible stands, power cables duct-taped to every possible surface, a stainless-paneled catering truck parked in your cul-de-sac! Imagine, tabs, the annoyance this would cause your neighbor.
