Battery Info (Walkie Talkie)
I just got a couple of walkie talkies that I'm going to use for a group drive tomorrow. When I take them off of the charger at 7:00 AM tomorrow morning, they will have charged for 14 hours, although the manufacture says to let them charge for 16 hours before use. Is it okay if the batterys get used if they have only been setting on the charger for 14 hours? These are brand new walkie talkies. Thanks!

No, I'm spending the day at the Historics in Monterey. Driving down early in the AM, bringing a student from France whose eyes are going to bug out, returning in the evening.

That sounds like fun. Are you driving the student in the Porsche? BTW, how is your front valance from where something hit it a couple of weeks ago?

Yes, we're taking the 911. No problems with the car, except that it really needs a wax. I took him to the MotoGP a couple months ago, so he's used to the 6AM pickup and fast blast down to Monterey. But the MotoGP ain't the Historics. I'm also going down to the AMLS later in the year to see the Porsche LMP2 race car make its debut. We're so lucky to have Laguna Seca so close.
