Quick!! Someone go look at the top of a urinal!!

I think it says 3.75 litre per flush or 1 US Gallon.

They are paying about $6.50 a gallon over there.

We aren't feeling it here in Oregon like all of you in the southern and eastern regions. There has been quite a lot of hype on the news and so I bought into it and went to the local gas station where it was $2.69 a gallon for reg. There was the longest line I have ever seen there, apperantly I wasn't the only one. I just feel bad for those who are stranded with no money, gas, food or a place to go.

ok so ive made myself look like an idiot. sorry. forgot about with the frightening economics of such a big rise in such little time, coupled up with your tiny gallon. Dave, i belive we pay about 22p (40 cents) a litre before tax for our fuel. and what does the revenue from the fuel provide us? traffic jams, potholes, road works-whenever i drive im always wondering where the money goes cause it certainly don't go into making our roads nice

Wow. A new idea here. Actually, it is on old one. There is this little country in the middle of europe which "officially" holds over 40% of the world's wealth who did just that a long, long time ago. In fact that is exactly why they have so much money in there. Though they have no allies, nobody ever screwed with them. Not even Hitler or Napoleon. Their army is only used for invasions or emergencies and in fact they used a majority of it last week to help flood victims. And since they weren't dicking around anywhere else, they were all available for the effort. I'm sure some folks there will have their complaints about how well the effort went, at least they won't have to complain to their congressmen. They can act themselves directly through referendum. Countries can either learn or choose to ignore. Pride's good ain't it? So pay up the pump and go complain to your congressman about it. After all, congressmen never have friends in the oil business right?
