Donating money to the Red Cross

I rarely give directly to the RC but this time I think I'll do it.
Fortunately my employer has announced that they will match every dollar up to 1/2 mill. Can't beat that.

If you're thinking of giving perhaps you can find and organization that offers the same. Or encourage your employer to match contributions.

I'm tempted to ask if I can collect from friends to participate in my companies program.....

That's my take on their operation as well. I'm very suspicious of most other charities.
