Briggs & Stratton lawnmower engine replacement/repair

Is there anyone out there would sells briggs & stratton 'crate motors' or does exchanges. I think the engine is a 280000 but according to the manual it coud be a 210000 or a 310000. I see the rebuild kits online but I really dont have the desire or the time to do it myself. The B&S website is useless and I dont feel like dealing with the local small engine repair people.

TIA

What is it for? If it's a lawn mower, just about all of them fit on the decks. Buy the cheapest mower you can with a similar engine, run till the sheetmetal deck dies, then transfer the engine.

I had a mower with a cast aluminum deck and real greased wheel bearing wheels. It went through about 3 engines in 30 years. But then, I had a local free junk yard to select engines...

I wish I still had that mower....
