JVC head unit error help. Google gives me nothing
I have a JVC head unit, model KD-SH99 that will not function properly. I get the error code ERR 6 and the fold down face will not stay closed. It just goes up and down non stop, but plays the CD.
Does anyone know of a site or forum that specializes in this sort of thing? JVC is backing down since it is out of warranty.

Go to JVC's website and download the manual for your radio, if you can.
In it should be a list of codes with possible causes. Chances are, it's a mechanical failure, and will need to be serviced or replaced.

I have the manual, but it does not cover this particular error.
