Gas prices, I DON'T CARE

Now of course, I don't make my living using a vehicle. Contractors, salesmen, transportation, etc....yes, its going to hit their (and eventually our) bottom line.

But why the HOURLY stories about gas prices? Its as if one day everyone woke up and gas was 3 bucks a gallon, and people are shocked and outraged....WTF?!?!?! DUH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am supposed to feel back for the jackass with the Ford Expedition who drives it 70 miles round trip (alone) to work? Or the gold chained jerk in the H2?

And what about people blaming Bush for it? I blame Bush for just about everything, but last I checked, he is not in charge of building oil refinerys. Silly.

that's the typical attitude....I DONT CARE, until it hits home....how sad. thousands of people are dying in N.O. while the Federal Govn't is doing squat to help. in the meantime, all W's oil buddies are getting wealthy....no plan, just like in Iraq,
our government is dangerous and out of control, now I'm convinced of that..
it's been 4 days already, can't they just drop food/water?
unbelievable the scenes we are seeing on tv, in our own country, the wealthiest country in the world.

they're having meetings these past few days to pass laws about rebuilding the damns in 10 years. who gives a **** about the damn! people are dying NOW! get some planes in the air and drop air/water to these dying people. this reminds me of W sitting in the classroom on 9/11 after his country is under attack, just sitting on his A$$ THINKING about it.....un****believe!

speaking of un****believable: hey genius, where are you going to drop the water and how?? how will it be distributed? how are the people supposed to fish your "gift from above" out of the brine in which they sit?? it's easy to come up with quick-fix answers, but unfortunately there aren't any. if there were, they would have already been done. it's easy to look at a situation from your armchair and say "why don't they just...?" but whenever you make that statement, you've just discovered that you don't have a clue

people are doing what they can, and they're doing it the best way they know. if you really cared as much as you pretend, then get your ass down there and help, dork

We have senators and elected democrats asking for an immediate study into what happened in NO. WTF?? What good is THAT going to do right NOW? If they cared, they'd meet someone in logistics to explain how this whole process *should* work, then find out why it *can't* work like that. Not with such rampant lawlessness.

to answer your other question, drop it around the Superdome, where there are thousands stranded with no resources. it's called common sense. you dont even have to be the president to figure that out.

Standard ration at the Superdome is 2 9-oz. bottles of water per inmate (they are not allowed to leave).

The water went out after the electricity, so there are piles of ***** and pools of urine everywhere. A frew dead bodies, too. 24 hours after they announced that 400+ buses were coming, only a few hundred have been allowed to get on buses, according to what I heard on the radio tonight.

Your article seems to blame the outlaws for the issues surrounding the inability to help people. Seems to me the g'ment is taking the necessary steps to get the lawlessness under control - as fast as possible.

So, tell me again how we could do it better? Obviously, this disaster is larger than ANYONE expected. Seems they were prepared for the hurricane, but not the levy breaks - which is WAY worse than the 'cane. The animals shooting, raping, killing and stealing have made an already unimaginable disaster infinitely worse.

If you answer is dropping food & water on the superdome... I want to know how long we knew the superdome has been out, and when the request for more took place. Has it been a few hours? If so, are you complaining because the planes didn't take off, loaded with the needed supplies, with drop plans, within that time? Think about it...

Oh wait... I think I get it now. It's just easier to blame Bush.
