There's a free trial version of Sorenson Squeeze 4 (I think this will do what you want- never used it). http://www.s-vision.com/misc/free_trial.php

It's free and insanely fast. It's faster than any other DVD to MPEG encoder I've tried. http://www.alfanet.it/squared5/mpegstreamclip.html Mac only though but it does MPEG2 which is what you'll want in order to maintain quality. It won't edit but you can always pay $30 for a Quicktime Pro license which will let you do basic timeline cropping etc... Or you could FedEx me the discs with a time code list and then be nice to me on my next order of parts Scott www.stomachmonkeys.com

Select a start and end point within MPEGS and then save that file as another MPEG - Wayne, the best program I have used for this is M2 edit Pro by Mediaware Solutions. You would use the cutting features. If you have the file and can find a way to get it to me. I can edit for you and send it back.
