Seriously, is there a non-partisan timeline around? That one's pretty funny...

I imagine the Dems are "finding" evidence as we speak...."gotta remember to use the right typewriter......Now where is Dan Rather these days""

The links are like this one:

Tech - Where's the relevant story?

. . . you know, the WW2 history about those far-off Japanese soldiers who didn't know that they had LOST!?

Do I have to explain to you what the release said? That the governor of LA asked for FEMA assistance on the 26th.

When did FEMA assistance actually reach LA? Well, 'Brownie' gave the order just before lunchtime on the 29th that he authorized assistance to commence in 48 hours. It's all there, if you want to read it.

Excerpt:
"Brown's memo told employees that among their duties, they would be expected to "convey a positive image of disaster operations to government officials, community organizations and the general public."

"FEMA response and recovery operations are a top priority of the department and as we know, one of yours," Brown wrote Chertoff. He proposed sending 1,000 Homeland Security Department employees within 48 hours and 2,000 within seven days.

Knocke said the 48-hour period indicated for the Homeland employees was to ensure they had adequate training. "They were training to help the lifesavers," Knocke said."

we have a Fema guy staying at the house for now and several at other friend's places here in town.. he says no one could get any work done or go anywhere until they had badges. it seems badges couldn't be made for some reason in Houston so all the info had to be sent to the main office, badges made and flown to Houston before the Fema people could get to work at the evacuation center in Houma, La. and other places. 3 days I think waiting on badges. Badges? we don't need no stinking badges. and to top it off.. the guy's from California. should make for some interesting conversations around the house this week
