Thank you, i was looking all around my colleges website trying to find the degree for machining. I always thought engineering tech majors were just watered down engineers. Cool, I think i'm going to keep at my degree and whenever possible, i'll take some engineering tech courses to learn the trade. I'd like to at one point, be able to design, calculate, and phsyically make whatever i want. If i ever reach that point, i'll be happy. I'd wake up every morning, look in the mirror, and say "damn your one bad muthaf***a". :D

I'm Manufacturing Technology, and I tell people that I'm an engineer who can't do math. I can, however, make a lot of really cool stuff. Plus, an MFGT degree requires you to take a lot of business classes, ideal for someone who wants to run his own shop.

Are any of you machining types open to handle a small quantity job (about 100 pieces at time)? Am looking for good and reasonable. Hopefully, the two are not mutually exclusive.
