I think it's one of those things that if someone wants to know what it is, then I'd disclose it, but generally it doesn't have much bearing on things.

IMHO, those who advertise their high IQ are insecure types desperately trying to impress others because they are unable to gain a sense of worth through their actual abilities/accomplishments. If someone tells me their IQ, I automatically assume they have significant deficits in other areas of their life for which they are trying to compensate. Just my .02.

I have no clue what my IQ is either. I would be curious to know what it is though. I am not too sure of the balance of my bank account either. I have been in front of this computer since 6:00 this morning trying to get my check register back up to date. I only have 6 months worth of entries left. I am my own worst enemy.

Radio talk host Tom Lykis occasionally gives away to callers his ATM checking account balance statements so that guys can jot down their phone numbers and give them to girls they meet in bars. When they read the tens of thousands of dollars in balance, they usually call the guy back.

My IQ was just south of 150 years ago, it probably a lot south of that now.

I don't know about standardized tests, but they brought in a special guy that administered the test to my son on a "one on one" basis. I think it took most of the day to complete. His was done in the 4th grade.
