Sorry if I'm late to the party but I just saw this thread.

Funny, but if those who cry "intolerance" were truely tolerant, they wouldn't mind people being intolerant. Think about it!

Maybe it's toenail fungus....wait! They have a pill for that now.

Only tolerant if you agree with them. Always been that way... :(

I agree with tubo..except I would have to add tolerance. Lack of personal responsibility, rampant consumer spending, and too much tolerance.

It is so called liberals who grew up with $$$ and now think that they represent the withouts and do so for a better society. The truth is that there are some folks who are just plain frak'n lazy and expect a hand out and cry when they don't get it. (walk around DFW and talk to a few 'displaced'.)

All you social do-gooders out there with your libral bend, how many of you came from the slums? I'm not saying broken families or liv'n with granny, I'm saying "cheese-eat'n, no socks, wear'n the undies 4 days straight can't afford to breath" poor? But your so "enlightened " that you know what is best for America ? Pleeze!

Intolerant? no, just work for it thats all - plenty of opportunity now don't kid your self.

Maybe the problem with the U.S.A. is not enough friction reducing lubrication....

Ignorance. Travel the world and you'll be astounded.

But the USA is a damn fine country- warts and all!

M.D. Holloway 09-15-2005 07:37 PM

pwd72s - I like the way you think? Who much hate could a liberal women hate if she was greased up and slithering around a rubber mat with an equally oily conservative (guy or girl)?

pwd72s 09-15-2005 07:44 PM

And to think...YOU are our resident lubrication expert!

America's biggest problem?

Geez, there's a lot to choose from, but here lately I'd say that political patronage appointments are a pretty big problem. You know, giving someone a job for which they have no qualifications?

And so, what with the prez fixing to drop mega-billions into rebuilding the Gulf Coast region, who gets the job? Yeah, Karl Rove.

Looks like Same ****, different day to me.

Apparently you haven't got the talking point...You mean Dick Cheney...Yes Karl Rove did increase world-wide polution and strategerically manufacture Hurricaine Katrina (particularly because a lot of blacks were there -- long story) -- that I do not dispute -- but at that point puppet-master Cheney takes the strings and rolls in the wheelbarrels to shovel money in from his relationship with Halliburton.

Mul,

Just telling what I read in N.Y. Times and elsewhere. You can call it bull**** if you want to. No sweat off my balls.

Please link it for me...Cause typical Democrat form would be to link anything Halliburton to Dick Cheney...This will be the first time ever I have heard Karl Rove as the benefactor to rebuilding anything...I am not questioning you or your personal crediblity.

So, I would enjoy reading this exposee.

It is demonstrated in the form of road rage, in line at the store, people are rude to others, no consideration for others, on the internet, on their children's soccer field.....

I pretty much agree. I think that starting with Teddy Kennedy and the Bork nomination that politics has turned TOTALLY partisan and personal attacks have become the norm. Even worse, we have a generation growing up thinking this is the right way of doing things.

Everyone on both sides of the aisle are looking for an advantage. The concept of doing what is right for the country is forgotten.
