The Evangelical American
Or on the trail of the American Jihad, better known as the War on Terrorism.
It has long puzzled me as to what the REAL REASON for the Iraqie war was . I knew from the begining that WMD's was only a pretext for the disposing of Sadam. A SELLING point in the ad campaign to get the American peoples support. The war in Iraq was going to happen no matter if 911 happened or not. It has been long known that the Neo Cons , Wolfowitz, and Perle have wanted to get rid of Sadam since 1991. Rumsfield, Cheney and EVEN Bush had that on their agenda upon entering the WH. The 911 event ONLY gave them the pretext for the invasion a cover as it were. So the War on Terrorism is a SHAM as far as Iraq goes. However as I have stated before the 911 event shook the American Financial system to the core and almost brought the house of cards down. Other arguments that iIraq is all about Oil or giving Bushes Buddys carte blanc are also spurious.... The REAL reason is really very simple...it is a secularized Evangelical movement to bring "Freedom and Democracy" to a region that US foreign policy has long neglected. An UNSTABLE region that is of paramount importance to not only the American economy but the World economy as well. This has become the American Conservatives Jihad. It is no less pervasive than the Al Qadea call to arms, for with the spread of Democracy stability will ensue and .. Capitalism will florish...So Bush instead of spreading Christianity is prostlyzing Freedom and Democracy.

Not Jihad, Crusade. Both of which uses god as an excuse to take land and wealth through war.

I think Wolfowitz was given the World Bank postion because he had miscalculated so badly on the difficulty of stabilizing Iraq and that is how Bush cashiered him.....If U remember LBJ appointed McNamera as head of the World Bank when he wanted to get rid of him... Iraq gives Bush headaches...over the amount of difficulity there and the political capital he has to expend maintaining his position...it's like someone shoved a stick up his @ss so he got rid of the prime cheerleader for Iraq... Boyz this has nothing to do with RELIGION or Biblical Prophecy it is strictly about Business........This is SECULAR EVANGELICALISM....the flip side of the the Religious coin if you willl....by spreading Freedom and Democracy he is saving the world so Capitalism and the world economy can florish....

The modern idea is for an interconnected world economy, where U put factories and businesses to extract the wealth....there is NO NEED for occupying armies anymore....U CONTROL THROUGH ECONOMICS AND CASH FLOW>>>> if someone eggresses you cut off the cash flow to get him back in line...Armys are only going to be used when the guy is so whack that he doesn't listen and refuses the offer you can't refuse...like Sadam and Kim Ill Jung....and Jung at least comes to the table... This is the way the American Empire works and is known as PAX AMERICANA.... Even Kadafi Duck fell in line, Musharef of Pakistan fell in line....even Iran plays the game.....The Taliban doesn't and U see what happened to them....

Even Bush and the boyz aren't that dellusional ...they have to get up in the mornining and deal with the Democrats and Bureaucracy....
Only the real nut job Christians think that way.... This end of time cr@p all started back in the 1970's with Hal Lindseys book....which is just plain stupid....and that is not the point of what I am saying about Bush. I've just got inside those boyz heads and found out the rational for Iraq...it's kind of Pollyanaish if U ask me.... Ultimately this is about IDEALIZING the American Way of government and Business. America is the GREATEST COUNTRY ON EARTH and if we can only spread Freedom and Democracy to the rest of the world everything will be fine....

When you add up the cost of the war in Iraq, plus the cost of cleaning up/reconstruction after Katrina, plus the rising cost of oil, I do not need any biblic prophecy to see the end of times approaching for the US, which will take the rest of the world down with it. The years ahead are scary indeed.

Remember all the times I told you about how the ABYSS had opened up on 911....that life in America could change on a dime....well Aurel looks like I finally got a believer....
Anyway I talked to my financial person a coupla days after 911...and to remind U once again she is connected to the powers that be....She said, "It doesn't matter if you have a barrel full of money, a plastic card or no money, everybody will be in a breadline." Sooooo..... The Bush administration is doing their damdest to prop up the system....and keep it going....and what I don't get is that the Democrats are trying to sabotage Bushes efforts...for their own gain...but if the system fails everybody goes down...

Yeah, well, the democrats are criticizing Bush efforts because he looks like the captain of a boat that is taking plenty of water. And instead of plugging the hole, what he is doing is slam the throttle, while there is no ground in view. A boat filled with water cannot get to plane anymore, every idiot, except one, knows that.

No need to look that far, Tabs. Just look at the Superdome or convention center in NO two weeks ago. I already know that if the system fails, I will be on my own.

Well what would the world be like if we had let Sadam stay in place...would we find another crisis somewhere else that would need massive amounts of money...?????? I wonder what the Saudi's thought the best way to get rid of Sadam would be??? It probably woulda involved assination....
I think Bushes and his especially his cronies view of how easy Iraq would be was Pollyanaish.....They will greet us with open arms and we will be outa there in a year....even I coulda told them that wasn't gona happen...but they believed what they wanted to believe... Also in the Bush view, America allready had a hole in the side with 911 and was taking on water...Bush felt that the cost of Iraq would be like counter flooding...the expenditures would be worth it....to save the ship ....

Hey Aurel...I knew back in 1992 that if the ***** hit the fan...you'd be on your own.....
Back in 92 when the Rodney King verdict came down LA exploded....Chief Gates told his boys to STAND DOWN...I think he wanted to show the world just how necessary his police force was to maintain order....and the ***** DID HIT THE FAN.... It was right after all this that the BIG GUN CONTROL DEBATE STARTED....I thought never in the world would Gun Control get through after seeing LA fall apart...

The problem with Mexico is that the mexicans have figured out they don`t have to be exploited making 50 cents an hour in US factories set up in their country, when all they have to do is cross the border and make 5 bucks an hour!

Ha! You offer an illegal day laborer in AZ five bucks an hour and he'll laugh in your face. You better make at least ten bucks an hour (then he'll consider it).
