Based on statistics it is true, while politically incorrect, one cannot say his statement is incorrect. The context that he said it in did not claim he advocates doing it. He was just using it to make his point. You cannot just paint him as a card carrying, cross burning member of the KKK just because he as a white man used the word black in an argument he was making.

Does anyone here really think he advocates killing black babies to stop crime? I doubt it, you are just using this instance to rip on the republican party. (just like the liberal press who are just playing one sentence from his argument and they are not explaining the context that the statement was made in)

Kind of like he had to claim responsibility for Katrina to shut up the morons that believed he was responsible for every single atrocity that happened in NO.

If he had not issued this Bennet statement, it would not be long before the lefties would be claiming it is W's fault that Bennet said what he said.

Tony, my disagreements with Mr. King are philosophical...Byrd's were/are racist...This was 4 years after the Republicans passed the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (against the protest of the Democrat filibuster) that Byrd made these comments.

The remarks are muscular, I will grant you...But definitely not racist by any stretch of the imagination...Mr. Bennett has never been affiliated with anything racist in the past and he is an opponent of abortion...In a hypothetical world, which he offers to make a larger point, crime WOULD go down if all black babies were aborted...Statistically accurate, as uncomfortable as that truth is.

If all white guys were aborted, there would be no more nascar drivers. if all baby girls were aborted, there wouldn't ever be another abortion.

What should his "punishment" be? Is it OK for Jesse Jackson to reverse discriminate? Should he be punished as well? Would it be OK if Bill Cosby made that statement (he must be allowed to criticize the actions of black folks, because I heard him do it)?
