Because it is true. See that's the thing, just like the callers flawed example it is true yet dishonest in that it doesn't tell you why. You're not saying it's not true are you?

Basically, I think he was very, very stupid for using those words. He may not be racist, but he comes across as racist. Wording it that way implies, or avoid the opportunity not to imply, that he believes it.


IT IS TRUE! It is absolutely a provable equation. The trick is that it's not BECAUSE they are black, that is just a meaningless variable. That's the flaw Bennett was trying to show the caller.

Put it this way: Read the transcript a few times and tell me what Bennett was trying to get accross in that exchange.

Did it have anything to do with crime? No.

Did it have anything to do with abortion? No.

Did it have anything to do with race? No.

Did it have anything to do with the misuse of stastics? Ding Ding Ding.

Len - I'm gonna shadup about it. My first post was that I thought it was ill-advised. I'm gonna end on ill-advised too. He should've worded it in a less ambiguous way. Whether he intended it or not, he came across as racist.

BCPs?...I have no opinion...Interesting though, how the very same lefties who demonize "big-pharmaceuticals" have no problem with this sometimes dangerous medication...And further interesting how these same lefties have no problem subsidizing "big-pharmaceutical" embryonic stem cell research

edit: not to mention the commie supporting ACLU and their forcing abortion down the world's throat, which is pissing off their Islamofascist buddies.

And its ok if you think the morning after pill is ok, I'm just trying to illustrate that this entire issue is somewhat less cut and dried than many people make out - in particular if one tries to take emotion out of it (if that is even possible).
