Anybody using DMX stage lights

Tired of the old 'button stomp' for stage lighting, so I picked up a couple of DMX dimmer packs and a 16 channel lighting controller at the local guitar center. Now I need to automate a couple of scanners and a bunch of PARs. Any recommendations?
