Jaguar to follow Porsche in SUV game?

Don't shoot the messenger, this is most likely a photoshop.

Can anyone translate this text for me?

it wouldnt suprise me! I'm so sick of all this SUV crap. Car makers need to stick with plain old cars.

Aint that the truth! We need to dig a hole and drive all the SUVs into it then cover it up. Then start another hole for the "lifted 4x4" trucks that sit 10 feet high...

I saw this Spitfire on a ride a couple of weeks ago; top was down. The guy pulled up next to me at the stop sign, smiled and just said "dual sport!"

That Spitfires actually pretty cool. I appreciate creative engineering.
Looks like an old Pontiac v-6 in it.

If Jag-you-are weren't just another name for "Ford" these days, I might've gotten my panties in a bunch.

yeah, exactly. Take a plodding SUV platform from the Ford stable, add some vaguely remisiscent styling to current (ie Modeo)Jags , hark back to classic Jags in your advertising, and voila, new yuppie twit, born-to-shop accessory.

Oh, to be so aspirational.
