Covers the body of the driver. Why do people need to post these things?

Its sad that someone lost a loved one...and the driver of the truck is having to deal with it.

Its not an airbag. It is not specifically a body tarp either. It is an emergency blanket carried by most emergency vehicles. It can be used to sheild the trapped driver or passenger from glass and debris while they are being extricated from the vehicle. When the hurst tool (jaws of life) is used, crap flies everywhere, especially glass. It also can be used to cover the deceased. Lets hope it is the former, not the latter use.

Judging from the impact, I would say the driver got away, the driver's seat looks fine...and maybe got some injuries but I bet is OK

Looks like a body tarp to me. My guess is the RF wheel of the semi caught the boxster right in the driver's door.
