Moto Morini--finished! w/pics

Finally, got everything finished and running. I still need to do some fine-tuning on the carbs, as I have an irregular idle, but it is a blast--already put 115 miles on it! Some pics from Sunday.

Good job, Eric! I've always loved those bikes. There are at least a couple that make regular appearances at our monthly Vintage Motorcycle Enthusiasts meetings. If one ever shows up with a "for sale" sign...

Nice. Where did you have the paint done? I find most auto shops don't know a thing about painting bike parts. The fact that you have to TURN the parts to get even spray seems to elude them.

Thanks for the comments guys. It has been a fun learning experience.

R50, to answer your question on the paint, I did the pipes/headlight bucket, turn signal stalks, with a rattle can(hi-temp for the pipes)

My buddy Keith(that is his S&S in the pic) did the tank with a rattle can, then cleared it, and buffed it(I have some pics of the tank in my last update prior to this)--the rest of the paint is original. I will take some more pics after I clean it up, and when it is nicer weather--it was cloudy and 60 when we were riding and took the pics.

That thing is gorgeous!

I think I'm more jealous of you than I am of Richard now.

Sorry about the delayed response, I just got back from Wyoming--which is 1 antelope and several dozen prairie dogs less now.

Guys, thanks for all the kind words. Makes the work worthwhile--even though riding season is nearly over here for the year.
Tim, yeah--the left kick is a little goofy, but thank goodness for the electric start.

I have already had a few "what is it?" and "how old?" questions--which makes me think I am going to leave the badges off the tank. I really, really like this bike.
