If it's 2 hrs. up 29, then I'm thinking approx. 3 hrs with the route we'll take. That's great...we'll have plenty of time to explore some of the alternate side roads.

You want to take: 29N to 234 through Madison/to Sperryville, Then 211 to route 522 N, then make a right on route 647 (this is one of the best roads ever.) to route 55, then make a right and go about 6 miles and make a left on route 709 to rt 50. then go right for about 30 miles to route 66. then 66 east to Falls Church. You will not regrete this...

THIS is GREAT route!! :D
