Anybody else notice the article where Chertoff blames Brown/FEMA for a slow response to Katrina, not local govt in Louisiana? Who'd have thought he'd say that!

So Mul, is that ackowledgement that the boot is now on the other foot and the Republican's were guilty of politicizing stuff when Clinton was in?

Chertoff is a tool. Heaven help L.A. when we have a disaster or security situation, and that clown is still around...

I still do not see what Delay did...other than dare be an effective Republican (which is always sufficient reason for a DNC/media witchhunt).

Hmmm...what Brown should have done was say to Bush: "I'm not qualified" before being appointed. But Brown's also a tool. Anything for 'da man' and the post's prestige.

When you've "schooled" me on his conviction we'll talk. Right now Clinton and Delay are apparently equally not-guilty, but that might change for Delay.

If "ends justifies the means", and generally flaunting the law, is ok as a form of fundraising, then he did nothing. On the other hand, he might have broken a law or two.
