Yeah, I smell an ass-covering and a completion of hanging Brown out to dry to accomplish it (whether Brown deserves it or not, although it appears he does).

Like what?...And I have already schooled you on Bill Clinton's impeachment, disbar and fine for perjury, so don't try it.

I still do not see what Delay did...other than dare be an effective Republican (which is always sufficient reason for a DNC/media witchhunt).

Hmmm...what Brown should have done was say to Bush: "I'm not qualified" before being appointed. But Brown's also a tool. Anything for 'da man' and the post's prestige.

When you've "schooled" me on his conviction we'll talk. Right now Clinton and Delay are apparently equally not-guilty, but that might change for Delay.

If "ends justifies the means", and generally flaunting the law, is ok as a form of fundraising, then he did nothing. On the other hand, he might have broken a law or two.
