Update: Evil e30

This weekend despite Wilma I got the oil inlet and outlet lines run for the turbo. So I took some pics:

Now I have to take it all back off and pressure clean the motor, powdercoat the vavle cover and mount the gauges. I'm thinking of satin black for the exterior, crazy?

Nice! I assume you don't have to deal with zee Smog Nazis, ja?

Luckly we don't have emissions checks down here. So the exhaust will consist of a Burns 2.5".

Here in CA, I wouldn't be able to get away with any of that, at least not on a post-75 car.

What's not obvious in the picture is how you're getting in and out of the intercooler and into the AFM.

I didn't follow the other thread completely - are you going to use a scoop or not? A WRX-style scoop or a NACA duct right in front of the turbo would be a good idea.

Heres a little better pic of the intercooler attaching to the AFM.

I also still need to put the BOV on the pipe to the intercooler.

Still undecided on the scoop.

How about a 924 Carrera GT scoop?
