Update: Evil e30
This weekend despite Wilma I got the oil inlet and outlet lines run for the turbo. So I took some pics:
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Now I have to take it all back off and pressure clean the motor, powdercoat the vavle cover and mount the gauges. I'm thinking of satin black for the exterior, crazy? |

Luckly we don't have emissions checks down here. So the exhaust will consist of a Burns 2.5".

Here in CA, I wouldn't be able to get away with any of that, at least not on a post-75 car.
What's not obvious in the picture is how you're getting in and out of the intercooler and into the AFM. I didn't follow the other thread completely - are you going to use a scoop or not? A WRX-style scoop or a NACA duct right in front of the turbo would be a good idea.

![]() Heres a little better pic of the intercooler attaching to the AFM. I also still need to put the BOV on the pipe to the intercooler. Still undecided on the scoop. |
