Any investment bankers/prop. traders etc?
Anyone on the boards work as an investment banker? With all the money on this board, someone has to
 I think this is "what I want to do when I grow up." So, if any of you cool trader guys would drop me a PM and give me the scoop on it, I'd appreciate it. Slow~

what do you want to know... I am in Fixed Income... You know Government bonds, swaps etc... Totally different than the equity mkt... I could not care less abt the stock exch, FX mkt, Dow Jones nor Nasdaq. I started as a junior trader at an investment bank (make sure u tell them u want to be in trading, not sales) 8 years ago... Went on to become a market maker for bonds... from there prop trader for the bank. I now run a hedge fund... PM me if you have specific questions. |
