The loopy little microcar is the Suzuki LC from the Tokyo show last week, BTW. Thankfully just a concept at this point, although some early 911 types may be partial to the, um...uniquely retro.. interior. Its in the new Autoweek...

Rolls Royce with a Merlin engine!
A Rolls Royce 'Special' with a 27 litre, 12 cylinder Merlin engine, as used in the famous World War II Spitfire fighter plane is the latest exhibit at the Haynes International Motor Museum at Sparkford in Somerset.

Figured a Brit would get that one! It was powered by a 27 liter Merlin tank engine , and was called The Beast.

The Beast was powered by a Rover Meteor engine...the tank version of the Merlin, made by Rover..

The deal was RR took over Rover's jet turbine works and handed over the Merlin....

I wonder who got the best deal..
