It ends when the resolve of one side fails.

For Germany it was when tanks rolled into Berlin, for Japan it was Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

We have a fundamental difference in viewpoint. I understand the importance and power of military action, and I'm in agreement that what we're doing sends an appropriate message. I actually like the idea of terrorists dying by the thousands. But we still have a fundamental difference in vewpoint. And no, I do not believe that Jesus opposes peace. I know for a fact, what He would suggest if He were here right now. He was pretty disappointed with the Pharises, you may recall. Imagine what His assessment of our current "leadership" might be. Do you suppose He is comfortable with cutting funding for the needy, while borrowing from other nations to clobber Iraq?

Oh and BTW, while I'm feeling a little sheepish about bringing religion and politics into this thread, I also think my remarks are very very focused on the thread topic. Military means WILL NOT END TERRORISM, I promise you with complete certainty.

When will terrorism end......simple.......when there is no more oil.

But, by the time that happens, everyone will be so pissed at the good ol' usa it could be last man standing, turn off the lights.

There were wars and terrorism long before oil was discovered and there will be long after it is gone.
