Yep. Not circling like vultures waiting for the first opportunity to topple the gov't. It pi$$es me off that people look at a minority gov't as if it's a "temporary" gov't. We voted them in to represent & legislate, not to impede and bring about another election as soon as possible.

Instead of doing the job we PAY them to do, which is to govern, they have spent their time (and our money) trying to force another election.

Good point - I never thought of it that way. The worst part is that this upcoming election is likely to be a total waste. As much as I dislike it, I really can't see the outcome being any different, and the opposition knows that. Harper doesn't stand a snowball's chance in hell of ever becoming PM - his support in Ontario is almost nonexistant and, for better or for worse, Ontario plays a decisive factor in federal elections. What does an election cost? It's got to be tens of milions. Pissed away. Just like the sponsorship scandal... Is this why 40% of my income goes to the gov't?

It won't be a waste for Quebec sovereigntists. It's gonna be GREAT for them. And talk about misuse of tax dollars... the Bloc is going to win more seats, and the Canadian taxpayers are going to be paying their salaries ($144k) to promote their seperatist agenda.
