Say your car dealer send you Xmas card
Ok, let's suppose that the dealer you bought your car from sends you an Xmas card...the first contact since buying the car.
Also, let's supose that when you bought your car, you had a terrible experience with them. They were pushy, rude, not willing to deal, and charged way too much for the car. Lets suppose they refused to contact the previous owner to inquire about maintenance history. Let suppose they tried to deny you the right to get a PPI. (A PPI was eventually aggreed on, but with a very limited window. The PPI never happened though, because neighbor hit the car before it happened and we felt we coulnd't rightly take it back after that) Lets suppose that, in the torrential rain, the car appeared to be perfect... Let's suppose that previously repaired body damage gets discovered, but wasn't in a Carfax report and could have been discovered during a PPI. Lets suppose the apes at thier service shop used extraordinary strenght to tourque some bolts. Let's suppose that you've been pretty steamed about the whole thing, are generally pleased with the car, but disgusted with the dealership. Do you voice your opinion of thier poor service, ignorance of the car's history, unwillingness to budge on the high price, and general "Porsche Badge Blindness?" |

Wait, let me clarify something about the PPI.
They originally agreed, then recanted. When we showed we were willing to walk away, they agreed again but with a very limited window (as in on a Sunday - when shops are closed) |

I'm not saying there are major problems with the car or anything, because there aren't. It runs great, and looks fantastic untill you start to look close. After the car was damaged by our neighbor, we felt it wounld't be right to take it back, even if a PPI showed the problems, so we kept it. |

Get over it.
If the card was printed on recyclable paper, do the right thing and recycle it. At least a little good will have come from the experience. I get birthday cards from my wife's financial advisor, (a man I have never met), which I handle in the same fashion. There are more important issues to take up your time. (I hope) Les

You're probably on a mailing list and they sent cards out to everyone who bought cars there.

Yeah, you're kind of a sucker.
Never ever never ever buy something of high value and commitment without being fully confident in the item. I assume you asked to drive the car for a day before purchase and got into a accident? The dealership has insurance that covers this exact type of incident. They probably used it to hussle u into buying it and you could have walked away without repercussion. Oh well, lesson learned. Write a letter, it always makes my girlfriend feel better.

Sorry to be so harsh, but really the dealers are not in control you are. You have the money to spend that they want. There is no sane reason to be treated the way you describe. If you accept that treatment and complain about it you deserve it period.
