Here is a photo after the work down. He cut both eye muscles but the right one is far more severe. Feels like someone punched me in both eyes and then poured sand into them.

Good luck.

Yeeeoowww... do you have restrictions on movement until that clears up, etc? Do you have to lay down for a week or anything like that?

Mike,
Hope it goes well for you. Take comfort in the fact that the eye is supposed to be the fastest healing organ in the body (course I don't know if that extends to the muscles that control them). It will be like most other things after it's over with, you'll wonder why you had any anguish about getting it done.

Don't spectate at any ping-pong tourneys for a while!!!

Wow, I hope you get healed up soon. In the meantime, keep looking at my avatar for a remedy ;). By the way, where is the blood in your eye coming from? I find eyes very intiguing.

Mike,
Glad to hear it all went well. That exta blood in your Rt eye will get re-absorbed in no time! No worries. I'm sure they gave you eye drops....keep using them as directed.

I think you should crop the "red eye" and use it for your new avatar! Cool!

Of course you could just tell everyone that you are just drinking too much beer :D

Lisa ;)

RoninLB,

That hurts! You would really do that to a friend while he is down?? :)

Mike, hope you get better and soon! I have a slight eye muscle imbalance but so far the docs say its worth living with so not going to try what you had done.

Take some Jack Daniels and lie down for a while... its medical powers are very strong!

Mike - I suffer from the same thing. Corrective prism lenses in my glasses seem to work it out, but the Opthalmologist has ruled out surgery as a means of permanent relief.

Looks like I'm stuck with it. :( Glad you could get it done.

VINMAN 12-11-2005 05:49 AM

Glad to hear everything went well Mike! Speedy recovery!
