Approximate shipping cost oversea's

I sold all my AC parts to Germany. Any idea of a ballpark figure for shipping compared to US? Twice, Triple? Once I actually get the stuff shipped I'll have a number, but I need to let the buyer know from the start the amount I'll need to get the ball rolling. Thanks.

What kind of weight are you talking about? Size? How soon is the stuff needed there?

Ask UPS. If it sounds like too much money you could try a freight forwarder. Ocean cargo is cheap, but it takes time. Air can be expensive. Also, the goods must be cleared through customs on the other side and final delivery made.

It is good to stick to parts that can be sent via US Mail. And make them a "gift".

USPS is less expensive than UPS. I just paid $35 to get a 3 lbs 14"x9"x9" box shipped to Sweden in 4-6 days. You can get quotes on-line.

Yeah, Gift in German means poison, but I am sure that every German postal inspector knows what Gift means on a package coming from an English speaking country.
