Thumbs up Celebrity encounter in Woodland Hills

Not by me though, by my daughter. Danielle has an evening position at Jerry's deli as a hostess/server. Saturday eve she got to meet one of her all time favorite performers. Stevie Nicks and Mick Fleetwood came in for dinner. She says Stevie was wonderful and even apologized for not having any publicity pics to autograph for her although she did autograph a servers ticket.
Needless to say Danielle was on cloud nine and showing off the ticket to anyone who got close.
It's good to hear that not all celebs are defensive and full of themselves.

Stevie is an Arcadia, CA girl....when she was in HS she used to wear it in a Bee Hive style..better known for attracting Black widows...she graduated back in 64 I think.

Stevie Nicks is my wife's favorite female vocalist and songwriter. I just bought her Fleetwood Mac's live album. She listens to it all the time.

I have met a couple of B list stars in Orlando and was more content just chatting with them then asking for an autograph. They seemed more relaxed once they realized you were just regular people treating them as regular people. My wife and I had a 20 minute conversation with this actor once. He was really down to earth. Believe it or not he and I talked video games of all things. He was in White Squall and on that TV show with Duffy and Summers. Once he realized we were not taking pitures and asking for autographs he was cool as could be.

Whenever I see him on TV now I chuckle. The other one was some singer she had a couple of big hits in the 80's and now was just staying below the radar. My wife recognized her. She was really cool to. Her and my wife talked about silly fashion and looking back at pics from the 80's and laughing.

We met Venus and Serina Williams in Jupiter Florida once too. Once you get past the fact that they are huge they are actually very sweet girls. Venus has bigger biceps then me.

Thats cool your daughter met them. My dad would go nuts if he ran into Stevie. He would ask for an Autograph too I am sure. Its always fun to run into famous peopel and see what they are like in person. Joe Walsh hangs out in Vero Beach and watches the Dodgers during spring training. Hopefully we cross paths one day he is suposed to be a hoot in person.

Stevie and Mick were reportedly dining together here in Georgetown last week in the Wash. Post.

I saw Raquel Welch come into my bldg. lobby once and there were guys waiting for her with photos to autograph. She blew them off. What a MILF!

I doubt if I would recognize either. Of course I'm only 25, they were a bit before my time. Here in Wichita we have Barry Sanders, who supposedly still lives here, and is very nice in person. KC people I know have met George Brett, who is also supposed to be friendly. Want a car? Go to John Elway's chain of dealerships in Denver, he frequents them and talks to the customers, or so my aunt that lives there has told me.
