I am not fighting to defend the MINI. It makes an awesome track car. Its a lot like a Corvette it can make a bad driver look good, a good drive look great and a great driver look like a god. I had a P-car instructor in my MINI at a Phil Whicks driving school and he was freaking out how hard it would brake and how nimble it was. I was throttle stearing it around turns, there was an 80+ mph turn and I was actually making the rear step out sideways to get the slip I wanted then punching it through the turn. I duly sold it after that track day. I want a car that is a challange to drive. Not one I can ride around the track in. This would be the best place to go research your concern about doors flipping open and roll overs. http://www.northamericanmotoring.com/forums/ *edit kybod battri ying*
