He's asking way too much for that car.

I'm not sure I want to know what 'anal flaws' are.

His asking price is about $9000 too high.

Yay!

Another front-engined-water-pumper-bashing thread.

We need another BAW-bashing thread for balance.

Well, it's black and has an Audi engine, so that's close enough for now...

Wow, you really know nothing about these cars.

The 924 had an Audi-derrived engine.

The 944 had a completely different engine that was built in-house by Porsche.

Go back to driving your glorified Beetle...

Actually, I do, but that would take the fun out of it. A friend of mine has gone through a couple, and he'd had it on my lift a few times fixing this or that.

Well, it's not running yet. I have a lead on front and rear clips, just bought a correct W decklid and a sunroof clip for it, and for fun, I also found a set of semaphore posts to weld in (I already had an NOS set of SWF semaphores)

Actually, for the daily driver, I prefer to drive something that blends in. Wouldn't want to be in a head turner. A little story for you. 9-11-01, one of the richest men in Oregon, name Ron Tonkin, found himself in Washington D.C. for an auto dealer's convention. He, a mega-dealer, was then the President of the group. This guy owns dealerships covering nearly any make you can think of, including Ferrari. With the airlines shut down, he & his wife decided to drive from D.C. back to Oregon, bought a car for the trip. What did this guy who could buy any car he wanted select? Toyota Camry...A wise choice, methinks.

Is that so the 911 drivers can finally get a look at the front end of your car?
