Thank You Mr. Griswald! Your a NICE GUY !!
And as for you MR. rallyman NO! I did not go to bed yet! But I will soon because I have to wake up very early tommorow. And my father does not spank me any more! I don't believe you! If your are sincere about my Challenge you would not try to race me in a 914. A 914 is not a real Porsche! The only REAL production PORSCHE is a 911...EVEN I know that! And I do KNOW that the 911 Porsche has won more races than any other marque. And why do I want to race you for your pink slip? I never knew that in the USA men wore slips??? I wear Calin Klien briefs. A slip, you are crazy! And what the heck does Ferdinand have to do with my Challenge??? He is dead and then his wife was running the Phillipines. Why you bring him up? I know you are joking and you are not even 10% as funny as orbmedia orbmedia My sister is still laughing shes say's that the little picture of the girl looks like Grandmother. |

Dear 911 Owners,
I don't have a 911. And I've never drove any 911 before, not even have a ride with. However, I respected 911 and 911 owers before today. I believed 911 is one of the fastest car in the world before today. I've been following the thread for awhile. Most of the posts are just arguing and joking. I could not see any of you have guts to stand up and say "I'm in." Not even try to!!! If you are broke because of your expensive 911, he even offered you no money race. Instead talking about race technically, you, all of proud 911 owners, just make fun of A 22 years old boy. You even compared your penis. If you think you have the biggest penis, I think Bill's is much bigger than yours. I mean Bill Clinton, not Bill Gates. Probably all the Congress men have nicer penises then you. Otherwise there wouldn't be so many beautiful American girls suck their ****s not yours. You have guts to compete with your penises; why don't you have guts to compete with your German made 911???? Shame on you the world fastest car drivers!!! You either shut up or bring back my respect to 911. Be a man!!! Show some decent posts not your stupidity PLEASE! Eugene |

Hey, wait a minute Edwin. You said ANY Porsche. You did not say a 911.
Remember, it's your challenge and you made the rules. Now follow them. So far you have two takers and a third who will meet you at dublin. Put up or shut up. Funny how a big race car driver puts out a challenge for an Autocross, which is the lowest most amature level of organized competition (No offense AX fans). Funny how a big race car driver would suggest a Can Am car might be the best (or even remotely feasible) choice as an AX car. Funny how a big race car driver would suggest that he could beat top TOD at an AX by a ridiculous 7.7 seconds. Funny how you keep acting like nobody has accepted your challenge. Smells to me like you don't know jack about racing and are blowing smoke. Put up or shut up. Your challenge has been accepted. |

Well I think we can all breathe a collective sigh of relief that Little Boy Edwin finally realized what he had gotten himself into, and did the right thing by backing out. But my only problem is this- now what do we do for a laugh that good. Maybe Mr. Yu can offer up some humor, as I am sure he is the second best 9 Ball player in the world, with the second richest daddy, and with all that "be a man" talk, he must be older than Edwin (maybe 23). His Uncle invented the Calvin Klien brief, don't you know!?

Interesting thread - I avoid looking at "Rice" threads because they are a waste of my time. Braniac alerted me to this one at an autocross yesterday. Edwin first describes his car as a "current Japanese production car", then later tells us he "designed it himself". It would be interesting to see this "car"!
I have a 1972 911 purpose built for autocrossing (see the gallery link for photo/description or Excellence magazine in the near future). I won my class in the NW Porsche club last year and an SCCA Pro Solo with it and my co-driver (who is faster than me) won an SCCA Solo2 National Tour in ASP class. It has been top time of the day on several occasions in NW regional events. The only production Japanese car that has ever beaten it was a Mazda RX7 (heavily modified), happened twice. So it is possible, but none of the national class winning autocrossers I know ever brag about their skill with any absoluteness - they know better than to think they could never lose. This guy either is a total flake (a good bet judging that he dropped the challenge) or thinks he is god and has money to burn. I'd love to take money from you Edwin - why don't you come to Topeka in September for the Grandaddy of them all - the SCCA Solo2 Nationals. You will get three runs on two courses (sorry, no practice runs). About 1,000 cars show up - probably more than you're used to, but look at it as part of your American education. See you there! Par911 - what's the deal? This thread was back from 2001. Why resurrect it now?

Well, I suppose I shouldn't complain. At least he's not trying to sneak in an inappropriate pic in the "Random Pics" thread.

I am a Newb here and only read the first page and the last page.
Good stuff. Randy W, was one of those RX-7's you speak of Steve OBleans? He forced the SCCA to rewrite the rules after his 3 cruching national victories. They added 100 lbs to the RX-7's and took 100 out of the Corvettes. Because the Corvettes cannot loose.
